The shawl is worked from the top center, outward to the edges of the triangle. It is self edging with a garter stitch border on each side. The pattern directions are given as 3 charts. The size given is for the sample shawl in the original pattern which used JaggerSpun 2/8 (fingering wt) with size 5 needles, 650 yards. The pattern can be knit with any size yarn or needles. Knit a sample swatch and adjust the needle size for desired look and feel. Amount of yarn needed will vary depending on yarn, needles and size desired. This pattern requires circular needles in size desired, long enough to hold the two sides of the triangle while knitting and stitch markers.
