Worked from the top down, this triangular shawl is inspired by the Firefly episode, ‘Out of Gas’.

Starting with an industrial body of stockinette stitch, it evolves into a catalyzer-esque style lace which then fans into the spiky edging.

I have knit this twice, checked and double checked, but if you do find an error, please pm me and please accept my apologies!

I have noticed that some knitters unfortunately ran out of yarn on the last couple of rows. I would suggest a minimum of 460yds to be on the safe side!

“You knit this shawl, treat her proper, she’ll be with you the rest of your life”
