Last week, our temperatures with wind chill reached negative degrees on my morning journey. I needed a quick but interesting knit that would serve the purpose of keeping me warm but was also something I wanted to share with other knitters. After falling in love with this yarn and the unique stockinette stitch it created, I sat down and fashioned this cowl. In a very short time I had a garment that could be worn under a jacket or over a scarf, as a hair-friendly hat, as a face warmer, as a muff, and so on. It’s perfect for the knitter who hates knitting ‘pretty’ things without a lot of use, i.e. more form than function.
