A classic beanie, with a snug fit and a cute owl on the side. Knitted in wool-rich chunky yarn, it will keep you lovely and warm in cold weather.

It is an easy/intermediate pattern, as you will need to know cast/bind on, knit, purl, and knit or purl 2 together, and simple cabling. (Even if it’s your first time cabling, you will be able to, it’s that easy!)

It is knitted FLAT and sewn up the back or IN THE ROUND with magic loop method, although it would be easy to adapt for other circular methods. Line by line instructions are given in English, (with British/American terms where necessary), and there is also a French pattern that follows, but this is FLAT only. You will need a cable needle. And buttons for the eyes.
