Yarn and hook: for this project I wanted to use and combine as many color combinations I could, so I used around 30 skeins of different colors (100 grams /skein) but you can see from the photo that it doesn’t take much yarn if you mix the colors. Because I wanted the border to be white I used about 7 skeins of white yarn. Please take this into consideration when buying yarn. The yarn I used is sport (acrylic) and 3mm hook. Other: tapestry needle for weaving the ends.

Used terms: chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), 2 (3/4) dc puff stitch, treble (tr), tr puff, 3ch picot

Size of a finished bordered square: 13 x 13 cm or 5.1 x 5.1”
Total size of blanket: 80 x 80 cm or 31.5” x 31.5”
