What could be nicer than a snugly scarf to wrap up in on those cold winter days? A scarf with a cute owl on, that’s what!

The chunky/bulky yarn knits up quickly and is lovely and warm, and as this is an easy/intermediate pattern, the only skills you need to know are cast/bind on and off, knit, purl and very simple cable. (Even if you’ve never cabled before, you will still be able to do this cable! As long as you’ve got a cable needle!) Line by line instructions in English, with British and American terms.

SIZE

Width (slightly stretched) - Toddler and child 13cm/5in. Adult and large adult 18cm/7in.

Length (excl.fringe) - Toddler 132cm/52in, child 152cm/60in, adult 177cm/70in, large adult 190cm/75in.

The fringe adds 25( 25, 30, 30 )cm, 10( 10, 12, 12 )in.
