The Owlish Pullover is a garment for children with a stranded pattern featuring owls and trees. My children always loved these animals, and I am sure so will other owners of pullovers knitted according to this pattern. This garment can be worked with positive or negative ease at the chest. It can be comfortable as an oversize and then, after some time, used as a small pullover with negative ease. As it is knitted in fingering, it could be very useful from early autumn until late spring. It is designed to match my Owlish Mittens pattern as well as the Owlish Hat (to be published soon).

Three sizes are given along with measurements:

  • 1-2 y.o.
  • 4-5 y.o.
  • 6-7 y.o.

For this pattern you will need yarn in four different colours: not more than three 50 g skeins for the main colour and small amounts of three other, contrasting colours (approx. 1/2 skein each).

As far as needles are concerned, you will need 3.0 mm (US #2.5) and 3.5 mm (US #4) needles.
