Owlizabeth is a cutie. She is a sweet young lady, with impeccable manners. She uses just one skein (100 meters, 50 gram ball) of Kureyon or other feltable wool. Bright, sparkly buttons make perfect eyes for dazzling looks, if you are making her for someone older. One made for a young child should be made with sewn or embroidered features.

Wings, legs and other features are sewn on before felting occurs to ensure a strong attachment. They are less likely to be removed by exuberant play, since they are felted directly to be body.

If you decide that you would rather have an boy owl, instead of a girl owl. A bow tie, hat or other masculine accessories could be attached before felting as well. Color choice could also make him more macho.

Owlizabeth could also be Owlivia or any other name you might choose. In any form, “O’wl” always love her.

She will make a lovely, squishy soft friend for any one you love.

She is also available at the Knit & Stitch Boutique, 15 Stone Street, Cocoa, FL 32922
