This adorable newsboy hat is the perfect addition to any Little girl or boy’s accessory collection. It not only looks adorable, but on a sunny day it keeps the sun away from baby’s face, and in cooler weather, it keeps them warm. This is my original design, and it features 2 large buttons on either side of the visor and a ribbed strap. Now you can make your own trendy Newsboy hats like this one, designed for you by me.

The pattern is written using American crochet terminology, but British equivalents are provided so you can easily convert it to suit you.

As with all my patterns, they are very easy to follow, although a good knowledge of crochet stitches is required. If you need advice, I am always here to help!

Instructions are provided to fit Toddlers, Children and Preteens

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
• 75/100g Aran-weight or any 10-ply yarn
• Oddments of contrast colours if desired
• Size 4.5 mm crochet hook (or one to give gauge of 10st x 9 rows in hdc = approx 3” x 3”)
• 2 large buttons (about an inch in diameter)
