Design:
The Dress has a little knots pattern and moss stitch edgings. The front, back and sleeves are knitted separately on straight needles and sewn together. Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline and for the buttonband. For the Sleeveless Dress, stitched are picked up for the armhole edges. The Bonnet has i-cord ties and pompoms. Also included is a pattern for Bootees and a Blanket.

Sizes:
3 sizes included to fit doll 36-41 (43-48, 50-56) cms or 14-16 (17-19, 20-22) inches. Or will fit a premature (newborn, 0-3 month old) baby.

Yarn:
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).
The picture shows the outfit knitted for 18 inch/46 cms doll using Stylecraft Bambino DK in shades Soft Pink (7113) and Clotted Cream (7112).

Skill:
Intermediate. Written instructions in English provided.

Tension:
22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.

Needles:
Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles
1 pair of 4mm (USA 6) double pointed needles for i-cords

Other requirements:
2 (3, 4) buttons for each Short Sleeved and Sleeveless Dress
Stitch holders
Stitch markers
