Romper Suit and Hat with Cat Motif to fit 41-46 cms/16-18 inch Doll

Design:
The Romper has a cat motif and popcorn yoke pattern. The back, front and sleeves of the Romper are knitted separately and sewn together. Stitches are picked for the neckband, back and leg borders. Also included is a matching Hat with a crochet edge (optional).

Sizes:
To fit 1 size of doll: 41-46 cms/16-18 inches.

Yarn:
The pattern uses double knitting wool. An alternative for international knitters would be Australian 8 ply or USA light worsted.
The picture shows the outfit knitted using Robin DK and you will need the following:
1 x 100 gram ball of Cream (041)
1 x 100 gram ball of Pale Rose (111)
1 x 100 gram ball of School Grey (028)
Oddments of Black wool for eyes and whiskers

Skill:
Intermediate. Written instructions provided.

Tension:
22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.

Needles:
Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.

Other requirements:
3.25 mm crochet hook required for hat edging (USA size 3/D)
6 buttons
3 press studs(poppers/snaps)
Stitch holders
