Inspired by the Pacaya (Chamadorrea costarricana), a palm tree that grows on rainy forests across Central America and whose scientific name means “gift from the earth discovered in Costa Rica.” The yarn’s color scheme combines with the fabric’s texture to mimic Pacaya leaves.

This pattern was introduced with the first installment of the Mrs.Crosby Travels Partner crate, a quarterly shipment through KnitCrate. The colorway is a special edition colorway that was only available in this crate.
