According to the pattern: Collar consists of chain stitches and double crochets. At beginning of neck edge, chain 156 and additional 7 if you wish to make a button underlap at the outset.

Lace consists of patterns. 1 pattern= 2 rows. Repeat rows 3 and 4 as many times as needed for length desired. To make sure you have enough thread for desired length of lace, complete several motifs, measure and weigh the piece, then use the resulting figures to calculate the amount of thread required.
