Paint it red is a lacy and feminine hat, with a little motif on the brim, representing flowers. It reminds me of the moment when, in the cards paint the roses red in Alice in Wonderland from 1957.
The hat is worked from the bottom up, with the brim worked flat before being made into a circle. Stitches are then picked up to crochet the body, in the round, allowing you to adjust its length to your liking. It is a rather quick and really pleasing pattern to make!
