This is one of three scarf designs made for summer season or for tropical climate.
Smart-looking, practical and comfortable, done in cotton thread size 8.
The stitches and design of this scarf were chosen for its soft and lovely drape effect.
Scarf can be made in a regular size using two balls thread, or skinny version (as shown in sample), requiring only one ball of thread.
Gauge is not so important for this project, but the use of a larger hook (4mm) than recommended for the thread, makes for a lighter, softer fabric.
Any color of thread will work up nicely. Using multicolor or variegated thread results in an abstract-painted effect.
