Materials
Solid color and self-striping fingering-weight yarn, 425
yards (389 m) each. Sample is knit with Twisted Fiber
Art Arial Self Striping (100% superwash merino) colorway
Cherish; 480 yd (439m)/skein and Satakieli from
Schoolhouse Press – sadly no longer available but any
solid colored fingering weight wool yarn will work.

Needles
Size 5 (3.75 mm) 24” circular and dpns for the
mitered squares needles, or size needed to obtain
gauge.

Gauge
one completed square measure 3.25X3.25” after
blocking.
16 stitches and 40 rows over 4” in Garter Stitch.
