This pattern includes full instructions for both little headbands. They are sized to fit toddlers and children with a maximum head circumference of 22 inches, however both patterns are easily customised if you want a smaller or larger headband.

I have used handspun yarn in worsted weight for both, but of course any yarn, commercial or otherwise, will work just fine.
