The word palaver means to chat aimlessly for hours about nothing. This sums up a crucial element of my friendship with fellow knitwear design Marie Greene of Olive Knits. “Palaver” tank was inspired by long chats with good friends. Knit from the bottom up and in the round, this tank is an easy and quick knit but the elegant lace panel that works its way up the back of the tank makes it an entertaining knit and a lovely versatile garment to wear. Worked up in Shibui Linen, Palaver is the answer to late summer heatwaves and early fall layering.

Measurements:
32, (34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, and 52”)
EASE: this pattern was written with aprox 2.5” of positive ease built in to each size for a comfortably loose fit, so the 32 is actually more like 34.5, for a more fitted style I would recommend dropping down one size from what you would typically wear.

Needles:
US size 3, 32” circular knitting needle or size needed to obtain gauge

Yarn:
825, (875, 900, 925, 950, 975, 100, 1025, 1050, 1075, 1100) yards of fingering weight yarn. Sample worked in Shibui Linen.

Gauge:
27 sts x 40 rows per 4” and
6.75 sts x 10 rows per 1”
