This oversize pullover is worked on standard gauge knitting machine (4.5mm between needles) with double beds. Front and back are made top down and sleeves are made from cuffs up and they are connected to the body on knitting machine. High collar is made separately and attached to the body using knitting machine. Side seams are sewn using mattresses stitch and bottom ribs are cast off with tapestry needle using tubular bind-off.

Yarn: Luigi Botto-Valemosso 100% merino yarn 700m/100g, 500g (3500m), the yarn is double.

Machine: Silver Reed or Brother with two beds (for ribbing).

Gauge: 25sts and 33 rows in 10cm of stockinet made with tension 9 on Knitter bed, washed and dry.

Sizes: one size, final measurements 140cm in bust circumference, 48 cm in shoulder circumference, full length 60cm.

The pattern has video tutorials how to:

  • arrange needles for ribbing;
  • transfer stitches from rib and back;
  • adding sts inside fabric and on sides of it;
  • attaching high collar;
  • connecting shoulders;
  • working on short rows;
  • joining left and right pieces of front/back;
  • connect sleeves to the body on knitting machine.
