The spirals of texture that swirl around your socks will carry you all the way across the galaxy.

The heel construction of this sock is designed to prevent an interruption in the striping pattern that would normally occur on the instep when you are working a heel flap and heel turn in a self-striping colorway.

This sock design is also a great way to incorporate a contrast color for the heel. If you are not using a contrast heel color, I suggest you wind your yarn into a ball that you can pull from the inside and outside at the same time.

Yarn sample used is so named for the great Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster drink from the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. If you’d like to make your own Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster drink, sign up for our NEWSLETTER, we’ll be releasing a recipe soon.
