I recommend using whatever yarn you like to use for washcloths and dishcloths. I use cotton yarn, but use what you like!

As for needle size, again it’s your choice. I use a 7 or 8 US depending on what I can find at the time.

No set gauge. Just have at it, it’s a washcloth. You can’t go wrong :)
