This asymmetrical garter stitch scarf or small shawl is knit from the bottom point up.

The wavy mesh lace edging is worked into the design itself and is done so without the need for any short rows.

It can be made from any sock or fingering weight yarn you wish. The scarf in the photos was made from almost an entire skein of Alpha B BFF B yarn in the colorway Jeremy. Another great substitution would be Malabrigo Sock.

STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES YOU NEED TO KNOW:
To make this scarf you need to know how to knit (k) stitches, knit two stitches together (k2tog) and do yarn overs (yo).

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Finished shawl measures approximately 41” at its eyelet edge, 37” along its plain edge and 19” along its mesh lace edge. You can of course make it larger by adding more design repeats but you will need to purchase more yarn.
