These quick-to-work baby pantaloons have a soft ribbed waistband, drawstring tie and pretty frilled cuffs. They can be worked in sizes birth to 12 months and adjusted for custom fit. Suggested lengths provided.

The mob cap (also in sizes birth to 12 months) finishes the ensemble perfectly for photo prop use.

YOU WILL NEED 300 - 500 m (330 - 550 yds) DK yarn, 3.50 mm (E) hook, a stitch marker, a needle for neatening ends. If you would prefer an elasticated hat, instead of using a yarn tie, you will need a piece of elastic 2.5 cm (1”) longer than the head circumference of the size you are working.

GAUGE recommended 4sts and 2 rows to 1” in UK trebles if worked in DK yarn. Instructions include measurements to allow for changing yarn and adjusting size.

Pattern is written in UK terms. A table of US equivalents is included.
