This shawl begins at the center back, with a circular cast on, and is knit in the round, forming the central square. One side of the square is then worked to the full length. After completeing the 1st side, a garter stitch edging is attached along the top and bottom of the central square, then these edges are joined with the 4th side of the square, which is worked to match the first side. Length can be adjust by working fewer repeats of Chart E.
