My contribution to Brim’s debut collection is inspired by all of the amazing makers in our community that I hold so dear. Much like beginning my journey in knitwear design and finding my way in our community, Parang begins small, with just a few stitches. But then, something wonderful starts to happen, slowly, but surely it comes to life in a richly textured, melding of many stitches in the middle. Next, the border opens up to represent all of the possibilities which are yet to be discovered. And finally, the striking edge detail ties everything together beautifully.
