This time we introduce to you a dinosaur that was known for its iconic bony crest, a Parasaurolophus!

Parasaurolophus belonged to a group of broad-beaked, plant-eating dinosaurs called hadrosaurs. The crest on its head contains a network of tubes that was likely to make very loud, booming calls to communicate with other herd members (just like a trumpet!).
