Parfait is a tunic length top of a silky sport weight cotton modal blend; perfect for spring and summer. It is knit in the round from the bottom up with shaping at the waist. Three stitch patterns are used ; one for the hemline and collar, one for the body and another one for the yoke. The cap sleeves are cast on after the armhole stitches are bound off and worked with the yoke. Collar is a worked as a continuous piece from the slightly open neckline. The stitch pattern in the collar forms a lovely scalloped edge at the neckline, for a feminine and flattering look. The waistline shaping can be eliminated for a straighter line.
