Ooh, la la! The Paris Set is frilly and sweet, perfect for the chic bébé. The text reads “très jolie” for “very pretty” in French. No chart reading necessary! The pattern includes color change instructions and tells you when to carry and drop colors. C’est facile (It’s easy)! Pictures guide you as you work.

While the blanket is not completely reversible as the text will be backwards on the wrong side, the color changing method leaves no unsightly strings hanging. The back side is smooth like the front.

Materials

  • approx. 1025 yards worsted weight (4) yarn in pink
  • approx. 500 yards worsted weight (4) yarn in black
  • 5mm US size H8 crochet hook
  • yarn needle
  • optional highlighter or pen for crossing off rows as you complete them

Please note that my yarn of choice, Cascade Yarns Cherub Aran, is on the slim side. If you are using a different yarn you may need to go down a hook size to obtain gauge or your blanket and hat will be larger than the sample. Please check your gauge prior to starting your project. A widely available yarn that is similar to Cascade Cherub Aran is Bernat Satin.
