I had my mum in mind when I was designing this shawl. Being from Paris she has that innate sense of style that so many French women enjoy.

Like a true Parisienne, this beautiful shawl captures just the right amount of delicate femininity and couples it with contemporary charm.

Beginning with a largely stocking stitch section, the main body of the lace consists of a series of simple lace repeats. The edging introduces a smidge of welcome complexity, adding the finishing touch to a well-balanced design.

The lace section of the pattern has both a chart and written directions so you can choose which to follow.

SIZING
4ply/fingering (yellow): 130cm x 60cm / 52in x 24in

Lightweight DK (blue): 150cm x 70cm / 60in x 28in

YARN REQUIREMENTS (approx)
360m/390yds of any 4ply, or lightweight DK yarn, depending on size & weight of shawl required.

GAUGE
You will need a 60cm/24in (or longer) circular needle. Use a size 0.5 to 0.75mm (2-3 sizes) bigger than you would usually use for your chosen yarn.

NEEDLES
As a guideline you should use:
4mm/US6 needle for 4ply/fingering weight yarns
4.5mm/US7 needle for lightweight DK yarns
