Passaggio (Puh-SAH-Joe, Italian for “passage”) is knit in a way that seamlessly transitions from one area to the next. For a cowl version, see here.

Worked as 3 connected triangles, the result is a full-size, seamless, trapezoid shawl that is a bit of a puzzle to tell which direction(s) it was knit from. Joining just a few sts with Kitchener stitch is required to seal the deal, although you can easily do a 3-needle bind off of these sts instead.

The garter stitch makes for a relaxing project, while the eyelet stripes and multidirectional construction keep things fun.

Please note that the row gauge is listed incorrectly on the pdf 1.0. I should be listed as 16 sts & 35 rows/4” in the garter + eyelet pattern.
