Here’s a twin set ideal for those uncertain afternoons when the wind blows chill even in summer time. The jumper with its lacy stitch looks attractive with or without the long-sleeved cardigan. It’s the type of thing you can make right away, knowing you may be glad of it any time during the year.

Material (Cardigan) : 10 ozs. Patons and Baldwin’s 4-ply fingering wool. 1 pr. No. 12 and 1 pr. No. 9 “Beehive” knitting needles. Two shoulder pads, 5 buttons, and 4 press studs.

Measurements: Width all round at underarm, 33ins. Length from top of shoulder, 19ins. Length of sleeve from underarm, 18ins.

Tension: 7 sts, to the inch in width.
