This pattern was inspired by Lionbrand L40247 and my love of Slip Stitch knitting.

The Debbie Bliss tonals were begging to be knit into a blanket, combining multiple “Easter” colours.

I wanted to make a blanket that could be used in a stroller or car seat and I favour a border around a blanket. So, after much calculating, the Pastille Baby was created.

The needle size is larger than usual for the yarn. This keeps the stitch pattern soft and squishy.

The result was a scrumptious cozy blanket.

Warning: This is addictive knitting, seeing how the colours blend together!
