Pattern No. 3 in the Stripes for Socks Mystery Club.

These ribbed socks are worked in blocks of colours reminiscent of a patchwork quilt. The handpainted yarns create subtle striping as their varying colours appear.

Worked primarily in a k2/p2 Rib stitch pattern, these socks will work up quickly and are the perfect way to use up leftover yarns, just as quilt makers use leftover bits of fabric to fashion their colourful quilts.

Fingering or sport weight yarn in the following amounts:
Colour A (“Puffin”): 55 m./60 yds. (70 m./77 yds.; 80 m./87 yds.; 100 m./109 yds.)
Colour C (“Turkish Delight”): 185 m./202 yds. (240 m./.262 yds.; 275 m./300 yds.; 330 m./361 yds.)
Colour D (“Amber”): 30 m./33 yds. (40 m./44 yds.; 45 m./49 yds.; 55 m./60 yds.)
