The “Blossoms N Baskets” vest is the outgrowth of the ‘99 Horst Schulz USA Workshop Tour. Many of the techniques in this pattern were presented in the workshop.

Description: All the units (blossoms and baskets) are knit individually and joined using a three needle bind off.

I used an assortment of complementary yarns in a variety of colors. Gauge can vary from worsted to sport weight. You can use different gauges of yarn successfully as long as you combine different gauges within a unit. Use “neutral” colors for the “baskets” and brighter colors for the “blossoms”. You will need (2) 24” or longer #5 circular needles and #5 DP needles.

Yardage Required: Approximately 1200 yards.
