Pathfinder Buff

Knitting
July 2016
DK (11 wpi) ?
19 stitches and 29 rows = 4 inches
in chart pattern
US 5 - 3.75 mm
159 yards (145 m)
173⁄4" (45 cm) top circumference, 19" (48.5 cm) bottom circumference, and 10" (25.5 cm) long.

Knits and purls make a subtle, graphic texture, while shaping creates a cowl that slips over your head and flares at the bottom to fit perfectly under your coat or hoodie. Make it in a semisolid gray for a wardrobe staple or pick your favorite bright hand-dyed DK weight to add a pop of color to your outfit. It’s worked from the top down and can easily be modified to be longer.
