“Paws for a Cause” Hat.

Knit in the round, worsted weight yarn, tall, 4 corner hat.

I’ve had a few dogs in my life, but I believe that every dog owner has one dog that holds a very special place in their heart. That dog for me was Kesh. A German Shepherd named after an Irish Jig. She could open doorknobs with her paws, she was frightenened silly of thunderstorms, took socks off your feet for you, got quilled (is that a word?) by a porcupine in the muzzle and radiated elegance even after she was diagnosed with an illness that took her from me in just a few days. I miss her, my family misses her and most of all, our other dog just hasn’t been the same. So this hat is for her and all loved animals as well.

MANY THANKS TO ALL WHO BOUGHT THIS PATTERN during the 1 year donation period-
DONATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE TO TUFTS VETERINARY HOSPITAL and KIVA.
