This pattern is for a peacock feather crochet motif, used for earrings. You could also use it as a pendant or applique. I get pretty creative with the colors I use, or you can stick to peacock colors of blues and greens. Your imagination is your only limit!
I used 6 strand embroidery floss with a 2.25 mm hook to get a finished motif of 1.5” wide x 2.25” tall. DMC floss gives you an especially nice crisp, shiny look, but I also really like some of the cheaper 100% cotton floss brands as well.
If you want them smaller, you can use 2 or 3 strands, or try a smaller hook.
~Enjoy!
