This delightful scarf was designed in honor of the Hudson River Museum’s Fall 2014 exhibition celebrating peacocks. The stitch pattern looks like a peacock feather eye, and an upright peacock showing its full plumage. It’s a great first lace project and a memorizable pattern for advanced knitters. If you can knit and purl, you can make this scarf.

I’ll be handing out the pattern for free on November 8th, 2014 at the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers, NY from 2 - 4 PM for their free Crafting Community knit/crochet group. Stop by, pick up a pattern, have a cookie and stay to stitch!

After November, the pattern will be available for sale on Ravelry.
