The Pebble Beach Gauntlet is a simple pattern with an elegant appeal. The pattern is written for small/medium and medium/large sizes. Size US 6 needles and DK weight yarn are used for the larger size and sport weight and size US 5 needles are used to work the smaller size.

The larger size is 8” long and 7” circumference at the fingers, unstretched. It fits a woman’s large to extra large hand. The smaller size measures 7” long and 6” circumference at the fingers, unstretched. It fits a woman’s small to medium hand.

The gauntlets have a seed stitch cuff and a seed stitch border at the fingers. They are left and right hand specific. The thumb gusset is made on the palm side without having to pick up stitches. The top of the thumb is smooth. The pattern is written out for each hand.

They are fun and easy to make and you can get more than one pair out of most 200+ skeins of yarn.
