From Fiona Ellis pattern description I designed this sweater with the long, lazy days of summer in mind, when you sit under a tree and kick back. It is designed for both making and wearing on such days. With this in mind, the cable is simple to learn and will transport you easily into a relaxed state. The pattern contains two variations of the same cable, one filled, one empty, reminding us to follow our breath as we work; breathe in, breathe out. Finally to add a sense of fun, the cables have peek-a-boo holes at the neckline and cuffs.
