This sweater has been made in cotton recycled white yarn, from a store-bought sweater from many years ago, therefore I don’t have any details on the kind of yarn.

Sweater weights 280 grams.

This sweater has been knitted only on the main bed of a standard gauge brother knitting machine: I used my KH881, using the intarsia carriage (even for the front that doesn’t have the peekaboo cables), at tension 6++

All the parts have been casted on with waste yarn and ravel cord, and finished off with a 4 needles icord ( icord edge ) picking up the live stitch with the wrong side facing me.

All the parts have been casted off with waste yarn, to make the icord edge at the neckline as well.

For the neckline, I did the same: after sewing the armholes with the mattress stitch, I picked up two needles at once every 4 stitches to reduce the opening size of the neckline.

All the icord edging were made using much tighter tension than the one used in the making of the garment: I used tension 4+

Questa maglia e’ stata realizzata utilizzando cotone riciclato, disfatto da un pullover acquistato in negozio parecchi anni fa, quindi non ho idea di che titolo di filato si tratti.

La maglia ultimata pesa 280 grammi.

E’ stata realizzata utilizzando solamente la prima frontura di una macchina da maglieria brother finezza 5 con l’utilizzo del carrellino dell’intarsio: io ho usato la KH881 con tensione 6++.

Tutte le parti che compongono la maglia sono state eseguite avviando il lavoro con filato di scarto e filo di separazione di nylon, e terminate con un bordino icord a 4 aghi ( icord edge ), prendendo la maglia con il punzone con il rovescio verso di me.

Tutte le parti sono state tolte dalla macchina con filato di scarto, per poter avere lo stesso bordino icord di finitura intorno alla scollatura.

Per la scollatura, facendo l’icord ho chiuso 2 maglie insieme ogni 4 prese singolarmente, per ridurre l’ampiezza della scollatura.

Tutti i bordini icord sono stati eseguiti con una tensione molto piu’ stretta rispetto a quella di lavorazione dei teli, io ho usato tensione 4+
