Peerie Weerie Booties
In Shetland dialect, peerie weerie means “very, very small.” Designed with very, very small feet in mind, Carrie Bostick Hoge combined a simple four-stitch pattern repeat with a delicate band of stripes to create a pair of booties with the fresh modern look that Carrie is known for. Small though they are, these sweetly patterned booties are perfect for baby’s first weeks. Difficult to kick off, they’re sure to keep a wee one’s tiny toes comfy and warm, no matter what blustery weather rolls in from the sea.
