Pehtoori sock pattern was exclusive to the Finnish Ravelry group Kahelit Konkkaa and its fun knitting race until the end of February 2015. Now it’s available for everyone in Finnish and English.
Pehtoori is rather a design-it-yourself sock recipe than a full pattern allowing the knitter to choose any yarn weight and any stitch count that is divisible by 8. The pattern gives multiple suggestions for cuff ribbing, heel and toe and provides charts for 8-stitch-wide stranded and textured patterns.
The model socks are knitted with sport weight yarns and 56 stitches to fit average female feet.
