Looking for fun, quirky last-minute gifts and mini friends to crochet? Try this terrific Pencil Topper Turtle Friend pattern. It’s perfect for all ages, it works great for last-minute or bulk gifting events, and it will make you and your dearest friends smile!

This minutes-to-make pattern includes written instructions and an 18-photo tutorial for crocheting this turtle pencil topper for standard issue pencils and pens.

Gifting ideas include stocking stuffers for Christmas, trick-or-treats for Halloween, party favours and back-to-school accessories. My favourite idea is to make several for a Teacher’s appreciation bouquet with various stationery staples in a coffee mug!

Available in Two Formats:

  • Always FREE online viewing via Rebeckah’s Treasures’ web-based blog.

  • COMING Mid-November, 2016: 8-page, printer friendly PDF eBook - digital download - ONLY $3.75. This eBook includes ALL three Mini Turtle Friends - Pencil Topper Turtle Friend (this design), Mini Amigurumi Turtle Friend and Finger Puppet Turtle Friend (coming soon)!

Designed to fit a standard pencil or pen. The topper base, which slips onto the pencil, is approximately 1” (2.5 cm) in height. The turtle is 1.75” (4.5 cm) long; 2” (5 cm) wide.

Sizing can be adjusted by changing the yarn weight and hook size, if necessary.

TIP: Most lacy, fine weight yarns work great for pencil toppers and other stationery staples.
