Designed for the March 2011 Phat Fiber Box, theme: Sweet Shop, here is a lovely and fun change purse for you to knit! It features seed stitch worked in-the-round, and stockinette and garter worked back and forth, flat, as well as i-cord for the loop. Stitches are detailed in the instructions, presented in easy-to-follow language. The change purse features an inner flap to keep money from falling out. I made this one with handspun baby alpaca yarn (fiber from a phellow phattie, Plum Crazy Ranch), but you can use any light worsted weight yarn. The purse is about 4” tall x 4.5” wide. The purse pictured has a handmade penny button, which I offer as part of a button/printed pattern kit in my Etsy shop. Enjoy!
