A Sweet Hat with lace & stripes in one to four colors in worsted-weight yarn. Four sizes to fit infant through large adult. Simple lace ‘ribbed’ band with tidy i-cord cast-on. Stockinette crown with combined decreases of concentric & four-point wheel. Finish with fluffy pom pom or compact felted toorie, or i-cord. Great for using up odd balls!

This hat was designed to go along with it’s companion, Penny Candy Winter. although it stands alone well too!

4 sizes: baby (approx. 6-12 months) up to XL adult.

Newborns: choose lighter weight yarn and smaller needles, aiming for 6 -7 stitches = 1 inch. A thread for this topic called PCBaby exists on my group forum HERE
