These little pixies are realy quick and easy to make. The pattern is a photo-tutorial on on how to make them. You can make a miniature little baby, or Christmas Knee hugger Pixie. Add pipe cleaners to the legs and arms and they are posable.
Or make a chain of pixies holding hands and you could use them as an aplique on a childs sweater. The options are endless. All using up those little bits of yarn you just can’t seem to throw away.
The weight of yarn and the the needle size will determine the size of your pixie. Fingering weight and a 2mm needle will yield a pixie that can sit on a penny. Sport weight and a 3.25mm needle will yield a pixie a that can sit on a quarter. Worsted weight and a 3.5mm needle will yield a pixie that can sit on a Canadian one dollar coin (a loonie).
