Nature has reclaimed the Pentewan Valley which was once so busy with industry. Atmospheric woods, a softly rolling river and cycling trails now occupy the beautifully undulating landscape, as the valley meanders towards the sea.

This is large shawl, trimmed in autumnal leaves. Knitted in DK it is a wonderful comforting size, but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t scale it down.

I used a full 350g of Rowan Alpaca Colour.

This is knitted from a tab cast on, with the leafy trim knitted on sideways at the end.

The main patterns are charted, with written directions.
