From the pattern notes:

“A good friend of mine is getting married this year, and I can’t think of a more fitting blessing for his wedding than giving him a lucky penny. This simple hat includes a special hole in the brim of the hat where you can sew in a coin of value, monetary or otherwise. Congratulations Tyler and Leslie!”

Additional notes:
- will require a coin (or another special token) to placed in the brim of the hat.
