The Peppercorn Shawl is a uniquely shaped shawl designed to sit comfortably on your shoulders without the need for a pin. It is similar to a semicircle, but has a notch in it to fit more easily around your neck. The shawl is slightly more than a half-circle, giving a nice amount of coverage considering the depth.

The design of this shawl was inspired by the yarn - the colorway was so pretty that I knew I wanted to let it shine! Expanding sections of puff stitch lace were just the thing, and when I saw the little pink and gray puffs I was instantly reminded of peppercorns!

This is a great pattern to ease into working with fingering weight yarn. It uses a relatively large hook and works up fairly quickly. The pattern is easy to extend if you’ve got more yardage!
